Our company was started as a division of a display company in 1981 by Bowling Green State University professor Dr. Gene Poor. In 1990, Gene purchased the division and started LifeFormations in Bowling Green, Ohio. As LifeFormations steadily grew over the next couple of decades, Gene invited a few more partners to join the company to further develop different aspects of LifeFormations unique products and processes.
LifeFormations continued to grow, not only expanding the markets for static and animated figures, but also raising the level of quality and believability that can be achieved.
Today, LifeFormations has established itself as one of the preeminent figure sculpting studios in the world. Additionally, our fabrication and technical divisions continue to expand their capabilities to compliment and increase the potential of our figures.
In 2002, Gene Poor invited several long term employees that had made the company a success to join him as partners in the company.
